Default need head

i want to get some headwork done to my raptor im goin with a 686 kit but i want someone good to do the headwork. im keeping the stage 1 hot cam cuz i ride in the woods a lot. so i want to go with oversize valves and some portwork. ill keep thebore job and rod for some local to do. i dont think that they can mess that up too bad. so what are good pistons and what r some good rods. im changing my stock no matter if it is good or not. any one with good or bad experience let me know what has happened to you.

Falicon, carillo, wiseco, and barker all have rods availible. I've heard of people complaining about carillo, but I've never seen anyone post that they broke one.

Wiseco, JE, CP, and Ross all make pistons for a 686 raptor. Personally I would stay away from JE, but there are plenty of builders using them with no problems.

Kenz Cycle Tech, CrayCraft Racing, Sparks Racing, Trinity Racing, GP Racing, Mad Racing, and a few other shops do port work. I'd give a few of them a call, explain what you want, and see how you like thier responses.
