Head pipe and exhaust problem.. Need fix...
On my 98 warrior, everything is in great condition except the the exhaust. One of my problems is the head pipe that goes into the engine. One for the bolts snapped off so I cant get a good seal with the exhaust. How can i remove that bolt thats broke and does yamaha have a new one i can put in? Second is the muffler. Its a DG i think, the plates and end cap that are normally on the end of them aren't there. Will cause any performance problems? Where can i find the new plates that go on the end along with the cap? Is sad cause I have two warriors and the one that looks like crap runs great and the one that looks great runs like crap but should be an easy fix. Hope someone can help. Thanxs

yeah i had the same thing happen to me with the header bolt snapping u havfta
1)take the header off completely
2)plug up the hole going into the engine w/ some paper toweling or a towel
3)spray the broken bolt down w/ penetrating oil let it sit for a couple mins
4a)depending on how its broke is theres a large enuff amount to grab w/ a pair of vice grips tighten them down as hard as u can and turn it out
4b)depending on how its broken if there isnt enuff to grab w/ a pair of vise grips pick up some screw extractors
what u do it use a drill and use a drill bit a lil smaller then the extractor u wil b using and dont use an bit the size of the bolt make sure its noticibly smaller then drill into the bolt go in about 1/4 of an inch at most then insert extractor into hole in bolt and turn it out
as for the replacement disks and end cap check dennis kirk
