What does it mean when the reverse light blinks on a raptor??

 

you connection is loose, down where you shift lever attached to the tranny you find a black plug, that the reverse light take it out and clean it.

 

isnt it weird when it just idles for over 5 min in neutral and it does that?

 

It means the idle is set too high, if I remember correctly it's more than 1500 rpm for more than a minute and the reverse light flashes.

 

If you put the bike in gear and the problem stops then it is either the bike idling to high or you reved it up in neutral. Raptors have something built in the circuits that flashes the reverse light if they see the bike in neutral and the engine revving for a certain period of time.
