aftermarket wheels
#1
Well i'm wanting to get new wheels for my rap350,because the stock ones get chipped and scratched up easily. So do douglas wheels hold up really good and don't get chipped and scratched up easily like the stockers. If not douglas are there any other wheels that look good and doesn't chip or scratch.

I hate to tell you this but just about all rims are made from aluminum and that scratchs and dings easy... I recomend ITP T-9 baja rims if you ride hard in the rocks or cross country as they take a world of beatings and won't bend. If you ride in softer, gentler conditions douglas or ITP .190 rims will work fine and cost less just remember that you always want to buy rims for the worst conditions you get in not the average!
Scratchs and dings are easily fixed with a smooth file if it bothers you, but a bent rim will need replacing straight away.

I was meaning like little chips out of the rims.Man my stock rims look like crap with all kinds of scratches and chips.Anyways i may go with some beadlocks or baja rims.Even some .190 douglas would be alot better than stock i believe. Thanks for the help guys.

just so you know, the douglus rims are soooo much weeker then stock!! i was changin my tires, and the douglus .190 rims bent like a pretzel where as my stockers i couldent bend worth a shiizzit!!! its because the rolled thing on the side took the force, where as the douglous just bent, get the beadlocks...
