Default Best Bigfoot kit for a Grizzly?

I am thinking of buying a bigfoot kit for a 2004 Grizzly. I was planning on getting the 27" ITP 589 M/S tires with the C Series Type 5 Wheel and I have a few questions.
Are the ITP 589's a good all around tire? We do some riding on hard packed surfaces, so I want a fairly smooth ride. How much performance loss will I see with these tires compared to the stock tires? (Does anyone know the weight difference?)What's the best deal out there on bigfoot kits? (Specifically this combination.)Will I need a lift kit with 27" tires? If so, which one?Would anyone reccomend a different tire and/or wheel?

I would appreciate any comments and/or suggestions.

Thanks

I got the 26's, work great with no fender rub. I think 27's rub fenders on big bumps. ( read on a post somewhere) I'm not an expert on tires but I think they bite very good on hard packed surfaces, great all purpose tire. I think I gave about $720 for wheels, tires, centercaps, and chrome lugnuts.

I have the 27" mudlites on type 6 wheels. THEY R GREAT. check out my gallery. I had to add 2" strut spring spacers which I make out of aluminum. I offer them in varried sizes.

The tires look great! I wonder if I will need to add any spacers or a lift kit.
I see you ordered them from lesteratv. I was thinking of ordering from them also. Were you happy with the service, price, etc.?

I was definitely happy/satisfied with Lesteratv.com and their service and very fast shipping. I called Melanie at Lesters and she beat my lowest price which was from www.atvoutfitters.net and shipped them mounted/balanced for free. Call and ask for Melanie in sales at 614-873-1876 and tell her David Krueger sent ya her way and she should give you a good price.

as far as spacers/lift go I'm not sure on the grizzly's whether they need spacers/lifts or not but if you decide that you need spacers let me know I have 1", and 1 1/2" spacers left.

I just put mine on tonight 27x12x12s on rear and 27x10x12s on front the front is fine , the back rubs alittle when I punch it and I imagine they will rub on the trail thats ok I will trim the fender in front of the rear tires and make an outward extension , it will look cool . I definety have a wider stance 48" in rear and 47" in front and 13 1/2" ground clearance in rear and 13" in front. I dont want a lift kit , already has high center of gravity. I am definetly pleased , I just wonder how much UMFFFF the tires will take away ? It still feels snotty. I also have a HMF slip on coming in the mail with jets and a k&n air filter to get back some SNORT!! The tire kit is the KENDA BEAR CLAW Bigfoot kit with type 4 alum rims , Lugs and center caps included. @ a cost of $520. + $ 25 shipping could not find a better price. Check WORLDWIDE PERFORMANCE PARTS. Hope this helps. Tommorrow night I will post a picture for you in my pics check it out SORRY for editting again but I have a question what is the torque spec for the lugs on the ITP aluminum rims ,they did not come in the box. thanks Anybody.

The tires look great! Those are similar to the ones I am looking at, but I think I'm going to get the type 5 wheels. I suppose I will have the same rubbing problems with the ITP tires. Oh well, I'll worry about that when I get them. Maybe I'll post some pics when I get them.

Thanks
