Need a Raptor head ported and larger valves installed. Need it more for hill shooting and top end. I have heard Craycraft and Alba are good. What do you think? How much will it hurt$$$??

I'd go with CCR over ALBA. Figure 450 for the porting, 40 for round trip shipping, and 200-250 for the valves.

Larger valves are not needed. 1mm over is as big as you need to go.CCR and Kenz are doing some top notch work.Barker is doing some radiacal port work.It takes almost a week in labor to do it and it is around $1000.00 to do it.Call around. Four stroke tech has done some nice work on other heads I have seen. I have not seen his work on a raptor though. Of course Sparks does very good work to if your willing to wait a loooooong time.
I had Craycraft do mine and I am very happy.

Give Norm a call, Norm's Auto Electric in Ontario Oregon. He is very good, reasonably priced, and will tell you exactly what's going on in your Raptor head and port to what you want to do. Super nice guy. He's the guy in the new Alticity video St Anthony Cand Crusades with the insane hill shooter doing Choke at over 70.

Personally I dont think any naturally aspirated raptor engine requires them, but thats just me. I've got zero experience with atv turbos so I wont comment on them.

Necessary, no, but, if you are having the head ported you should be replacing the stock valves anyway, so it would be a good time to install the 1mm oversized valves. You get a bit more flow & another 1-2 hp with them. I saw the increase on the dyno & flow bench. I don't remember the exact numbers off hand but I can tell you it made a difference.
