Default Thanks for the help, bought a mig welder

A few weeks back i posted about getting a mig welder. Quite a few guys chimed in with suggestions on what to look for and get. After some thought i ended up with a lincoln HD3200. I had really wanted a 220 volt but decided that i really did not need one. Just wanted one for around the house. I can use it around the pasture when need buy using my lincoln gas powered welder as a generator. I bought a size 2 bottle from a dealer on ebay for 80 bucks shipped and used that bottle to trade at Tractor supply for a full exchanged one. I am glad i stepped up to the size 2 bottle casue the refill cost is less than a dollar difference. I bought a cart on ebay to set it on for 40 shipped. The mig welder cost 459.00 at Home Depot and i had a 10% off cupon and did it tax exempt farm use.

I appreciate the help you guys gave me. But after shopping around i decided that i need a plasma cutter. ( not sure why?) I found a few Hobberts Sp? at Northern tools. Any one have any idea if a plasma cutter for 1200 dollars is very good?
