Nice pictures, looks like you went with Edge paddles let me know how they do at Glamis. I got haulers for my Raptor, the same as we use on my girlfriends stock Banshee. Maybe we'll see ya out there, going on the weekend of the 14-15th of Oct. I can't wait to see how the Raptor does against her Banshee

California charges 8.25% sales tax when you register an OHV so one might end up spending too much bringing one in from out of state. I considered doing it. You need to look for the letter "c" or the number "8" in the 8th digit position of the VIN number stamped on the frame. That will tell you if it is a red sticker OHV or not. I looked at one yesterday and it had the letter "Y" in the 8th position so it was a green sticker OHV.

Yea I got the Edge Paddles mainly because I wasnt going to be drag racing it like I used to with my Banshee but I still wanted decent hook up. Me and my brother bought our 93 Banshees brand new and he went with Edge and I ran Sand Skate IIs. His bike pulled better on hillclimbs at Glamis when we raced.

I like the way Sand Skate IIs look and wear, but I dont want to be losing much to other Raptors.

We are also going out to Glamis on that weekend, I am not sure where we are camping yet. I will post if I find out.

Take it easy,

Blake

Just talked to a dealer in Hollywood, they got the first of their 3 raptors Thursday. However, they said only 3 will be shipped to them before the end of the year, so if you aren't on the list, t.s.
This isn't my dealer, however, so hopefully my guy will be getting his soon. God I hope so.
By the way, if anyone needs a riding partner in souther california, I'm in need of one too. You can email me at cheboy@flashcom.net. Anyone know of a good place to find riding buddies?

I just went with Douglas Blue labels, I dont plan on racing it for at least a year and landing in the dunes are always on the soft side.
