gas line
#2
Should be pretty easy. Just remove the clip and slide the line off. You really dont need to take the line off the carbs though, you can just remove the line from the other end on the gas tank petcock. Same setup there, clip and pull it off. Neither should be difficult.

Looks like you are even further north than me and if your temps outside are anything like mine then getting that line off might be tricky. If you aren't working in a heated garage you may want to use a hair dryer to heat the gas line a little. those line become impossible to remove when its well below freezing outside.

You could always cut it off if you have to, and replace it. You can get nicer line and get it longer so that you dont have to remove the line when you move the tank. I've spent a lot of time jetting and its a pain pulling that gas line over and over again. Much easier to just get a long gas line and put the tank where the seat sits.
Try needlenose pliers, worked great on mine.

i had to take it off yesterday, it was a b*tch. the first time taking it off is the worst, but after that its easy. jus take a flat blade, open the clip wit one hand and push at the edge of the fuel line wit the other until it slowly slides off.
