Hello folks,
I asked this on the HONDA forum, thought I'd aske for you folks's perpective.

I've never owned an ATV, and am looking to get one for me and my boys(teenagers).

I'm looking to get a UTILITY ATV for the deer lease and around the house to pull a trailer. On paper the bear-tracker is better. Any one have any real world experiences/comparisons?? If the beartracker is just as reliable, it looks to be the better buy. Probably get a drive out price of 3500.00
any info would be appreciated.

Thanx,

David

Well i know from expirience. I was 12 when my dad bought me recon. Not one problem and it is a '98 model. I used for hunting i thought i had plenty of rack room on it. Honda must think highly of the recon engine they just put it in the 250ex. Just my opinion. GOOD LUCK!

My dad owns a '99 beartracker, and he isnt really happy with it as far as power goes. But it is very nice to driver on trails, it rides fairly decent and all. It has great gas mileage, well.. compaired to my banshee. It will only go about 40, but then I am looking at it from the point of view of someone who owns a banshee. As a utility quad I would probably be happy with it. Not as happy as say a kodiak or a grizzly, but for the price, it is a very nice quad.
