1st off dont get mad cuz im a polaris guy in a yamaha forum i just want some opinions.
What is ur overall opinion of the 3 quads ...speed, ergonomics just the whole setup

stock for stock, get a 450trx

if you like to mod or ride in sand, get a raptor

 

The raptor...faster, more torqe then the other two, and i think there comfortable too, im about 6 foot and i think its perfect. TRX is nice, but if you want a 450, go for the YFZ450, much better then the TRX. Predator is just, i dunno, i don't like them very much, sat on one, and just hopped right off back to my raptor...didn't like the feel.

 

I doubt that the YFZ is "much" better, both have their strong points. I'd go with the Honda, first off your getting a honda, second its a fantastic bike that will do everything well. They only problem is the lack of reverse, but its not much of a problem with a 350lb quad

 

depends greatly on how aggressivly you ride and where..Trails, 450R or Raptor, Dunes, Raptor, Track, YFZ or 450R.

 

I agree that its a honda and hondas are great, but i think that the YFZ is just an all around better bike, and reverse makes a big difference if you ride trails a lot, trust me, i have a raptor and my buddy has a blaster, i ride the blaster a lot, and you have to get off and push that thing when you hit a snag in the trail or etc. it gets old REAL fast, then you get back on the rappy and just turn a **** and shift, and vwaluh, your backin up. and im not sure if the honda has electric start or not, i don't think it does so you have to kick start it, and i like electric start, makes it a lot easier to start (if it does have electric start, disregard that past sentence). and i also just like yamaha's better then i do honda's, but most of it is personal preference and where you ride...

 

i know they are both good in their own way but dont you own a yfz and not a trx? would you rather have a trx?

 

Well ive noticed you guys havent said much of anything bout the preddy. but in my opinion overall i think the predator is the better quad (05) I beat all the raptors ive raced around here, it has reverse electric start good suspension, kinda heavy, gots a good motor, little body roll, and good tires... and yes ive rode them all

 

for the record, the 450R is kickstart.
