i have a 99 banshee i just got its brand new just broken in i was wondering if anybody new kow many miles i can get off of a tank of gas and if pipes will make in difference in the mileage, i plan on getting the t-6 kit.

 

I have a ported 350 with cpi in frames and have gotten 60.0 miles to a tank when we riding in W.V. recently!

 

Gas Mileage on an ATV?

Especially a banshee?

I've never heard of such a thing... I do know that if you're worried - buy a desert tank.

I can't say I've ever checked mileage- It would definately change whether you were measuring it from the front or rear wheels. REAR wheel mileage..probably around 90 HAHA! FRONT wheel mileage probably like 50r so on a stock banshee. It's kinda like snowmobile mileage. That track is always spinning in powder so you never really go as far as the odometer says. I try to keep track by hours. On my banshee I get about 2 hours of sand riding for a tank. On open roads (logging roads) probably like 4 or 5 hours on a tank. Kinda depends who I'm riding with also.

 

u go by hours more than miles. depends on ur riding conditions.... wide open throttle or puttin around in 2nd gear///

 

We had a handheld gps unit with us,will also tell true top speed,avg speed,among alot of other things.Its pretty interesting to see how fast a quad really is, no guessing its a fact when you ck it with gps.There are a lot of people who think there quad is much faster than it really is! If you go to W.V. and trail ride alot gps is a big help.
