I am looking at purchasing a kodiak 450 and Bruin 350(wife) and currently live in New Mexico. I was just told by a dealer in CO that they wouldn't do the jetting on the bikes for me to adjust for the altitude, but they would give me the kits to do it myself. What are we talking about here with jetting and how hard is it to d-i-y? Also, should I make sure that a dealer will either jet them or give me the kits before I purchase?

Also, should I be able to get an 05 450 and an 05 350 4x4 out the door for under 10K?

dude, if you got the jets. it will take you an hour with a phillips head screwdriver and some pliers. simple. search online for a step by step instruction guide for you if it is your first time.
