raptor mechanics

Default raptor mechanics

trying to bypass the rev limiter completely....i saw where a 10-100 ohm resistor was place in between two wires...just cant remember whicch two...and also...what functions does the cdi perform...i was trying to track down my rev limit problem(engine only runs in rev limit mode) and disconnected it and still ran....it also was fairly warm after only 5 mins of idle time...any of you gurus have any suggestions? thanks in advance!

opps sorry....i should have searched on the rev limit thing...just found that...but still wondering about the cdi thing...

Check the clutch perch safety switches....sometimes they get dirty and stick open or closed......

sorry again...that was the rectifier and regulator assembly i disconnected....im all mixed up this morning
