From Raptor to Bruin - and another Bruin Question
Ok, so I really screwed up my ankle . . . playing soccer. The really bad news is that it's my left ankle so I can't ride the Rap for a while.
Been riding the wife's 350 Bruin instead. And since I've noticed a bunch of Bruin posts lately and really need to add my own, I thought I'd keep it going.
Do these things all make a ridiculous amount of top-end mechanical noise? This one has less than 20 hours and has a couple of quirks. It really knocks hard on startup, but settles down after oil pressure comes up. The really disturbing part for me is the top end noise. Sounds a lot like rocker slop to me, but I took it in and the dealer insures me that tolerances are in spec.
I've been around bikes a long time, but was just wondering how much noise other 350 Bruin owners are hearing. I ain't liking this.
(By the way, I'm the same user as DesertBirdofPrey. Don't ask me how it happened, but I'll soon be settling on that account and closing this one . . . )
