Default raptor question (owners)

I got an 05 about 7 months ago. I love the torque they have! I have a couple of things I dont like about the raptor. First off I do not like the front suspension for the kind of riding I do, it is fine on the dunes but in the whoops it throughs you around too much. I am getting some yzf front shocks to fix that problem $200 to $250 for the shocks. Second They are very tippy, I widened mine out more to make it more stable and now I dont have a problem with it, other than that they are a good machine in my opinion.

Yeah i also have an 05 Raptor and it is a great bike man. The torque is sick and overall power is great too. The only prob i have is the bike is a bit tipsy as rotty 150 stated but its not that bad. Depending on what you are gonna use it for, you should be happy with it.

I have an '03, and I wouldn't have anything else. as for the tippyness, I do not have a problem with it. We ride all kinds of styles here. I do have a set of lowering blocks I use on flat tracks, and then I always make changes to the suspension. You won't be dissapointed with the Raptor.

actually there is a littl modding needed but its not bad. They wont just bolt right up though.

You have to grind off about 1/4" on the top mounts and also cut out about 3/4 to 1" "U" shape out of the bottom mopunt to avoid it hitting. Not too difficult, I have done it. Took about an hour total to do the swap.

I tried to post a link over to B T but I guess its "FORBIDDEN" on this site........WTF??? I guess you'll have to find it yourself over there in the 660 section. There are step by step pictured instructions that will make it real easy to follow....
