I see some of these ez pull clutch perches and levers and what not with the hot start. What exactly is it and what is its purpose...thanks

 

I had a Yamaha WR400 dirtbike and it had a hot start on it. Basically it was the opposite of the choke. When you pulled it out it would lean out the fuel flow and make the hot engine start easier. It also came in handy if you somehow flooded the engine. I only had the bike for a week and decieded I prefer quads, so I traded it back in and got the Raptor so I don't know much else about it and why it was so necessary.
