Those numbers are kinda low for both machines. What type of dyno did they have? What tires did you use? 9000rpm is kinda high, you running an aftermaket ignition?

Is it expensive to get your quad dynoed? there is a place in the next town over from me (Putnam, CT) that does it in the industrial park somewhere.. I'll have to look into it if its not too expensive.

it was a DYNOjet like the jet kit company they had a trailer up there and they were doing it. It had flat track tires on it, not hoosiers some other brand. Thats what the sheet said 9000 rpms there was an editor of this forum up there that went before me i think his name is rex. I had a very low gearing it toped out at 63 MPH on the dyno while my buddys KFX said 88MPH. But we all know that that with no friction and on a spinning wheel "thats just to give you a comparison of how low geared it is. The editor he was testing a 450r, these number are rwhp not at the crank most of your hp raiting are from the crank. he said if i wanted to say from the crank add 10 hp on to what it had.

oh and not only did they give me the rwhp and torque they also stuck a rod in the tail pipe to get your jetting right they gave you a print out and you take it with your bike to the mechanic shop at sahara and they jet it for u. no i have absolutely Perfect jetting or thats what the mechanic told me it was $35 for the dyno and $40 for the jetting

That does sound a little low for the mods you have... I had one of my raptors dynoed last year and it pulled 45hp at the rear wheels. The only mods to it at the time was a Yoshi pipe and a stage one cam. I also pulled an additonal 8 hp (53) with the nitrous. The dyno is notorious for being stingy as well. A few guys I know have used the same one. It was a winPEP machine as well.

You should be in the mid 50's at the rear wheels conservatively with that build. 99% of dynos give you readings at the rear wheels. Unless they hook up the machine right to the crank.....

I would postup the dyno run but I am not sure how to.
