How do you re-jet a Raptor??

Default How do you re-jet a Raptor??

I was just wondering never done it before and when i get my raptor (hopefully) i will know how to do this and i was wondering if you need to do it alot or not?

Is it a 660 or 350?

Its a 2005 Raptor 660R that is stock.

Default How do you re-jet a Raptor??

Depending on your elevation...although thqat should be set by the factory...you should not have to do it..but incase you feel the need, you must remove the front fender and gas tank...then loosen up the boots, pop off the carb, flip it over and drain the fuel, take off the bowls, swap jets, and reverse the procedure. Takes about 15 minutes.

your first time jetting wont take you 15 min. but one you realize you have a picky raptor, and you have to jet a billion times to get it right, you'll learn to bust your a$$ and get it down to 15 min! LOL, i swear to god stallion the first time i jetted my bike ti took me like an hour and a half, im pathetic. i know... : ( but anyways your shouldnt have to screw with it, it should have been done from the factory unless you did some sort of a mod. FYI, my new raptor is FINISHED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pics will be posted tonight.... All i can say is i am very happy!!!!
