Default stupid boot question

hey guys i know this is a stupid question but i have never owned any boots before and i just got some today. i tried them on and went and used them on my blaster but to me it feels like i cant shift because i cant get my foot in between the shifter and the platform that easy. so im wondering if i wear them long enough, will the upper part of the boot get thinner or break in after i use them a while cause im probably goin to return them and get the FOUR atv boots. Can someone help?

You have to move up your shift lever so your boot can fit in there. It is adjustable. I couldnt shift on my raptor when I first got my new boots either. Then I adjusted the lever and I have had no more problems

I had the same problem,RR619 is right.Just pull the bolt out where you tighten the shifter, and pull the shifter lever off and rotate it a couple of splines. It depends on how big your foot is, on how far you move it.It won't effect how it shifts.
