How do you clean an air filter?!?!?!?!

Default How do you clean an air filter?!?!?!?!

I just took apart my wolverine's air filter box and it is a mess! How should I go about cleaning it? Thank you

get filter oil and wet it a couple times... thats how i clean mine.. just wet it.. dry it.. oil it.

Default How do you clean an air filter?!?!?!?!

I CLEAN MINE by rinsing it with gas, then actyually using dish soap to get all the dirt and crap out. then let it dry off after this. Put the oil on it. go ride.

I use dish soap and let sit then I dry it and add the oil.

Default How do you clean an air filter?!?!?!?!

Foam filter will clean better with kerosene instead of gas. Gas will have a tendancy to break down the foam. Let dry completely and use spray on filter oil (less mess.)
