i was getting ready to buy a yfz but i herd that ever 20 hrs you have to changes the rings or reeds and change the oil is that true or not>?

 

haha. theirs no reeds its a 4-stroke. haha. no, you dont have to put new rings on the piston every 20hrs, but changing the oil every 20hrs is standard matnience just like anybike. good luck. who ever told you the reed and piston thing is yankin your leg.

You have to rebuild a YFZ every 100 hours..

There is not set time to rebuild a YFZ it depends how hard you ride it and how break in was... But first your question jas, no you don't have to change to rings every 20, but you should change to oil more often than a normal bike due to the ultra high compression [for a stock bike](11.9:1).
