Better than any Polaris, Kodak whatever. I simply put on the US Forest approved stock pipes and dropped a couple 240 jets and I was off. It was amazing the amount of torch the stock pipes produced with the standard Banshee mods. (reeds, wisco pistons, milled head, boost bottle etc.)

Back to the hunting. I could go more places due to the narrow wheelbase, I would beat everybody to the hot water holes and the deer were mesmerized by the buzz of the Banshee. Packing my 3 x 4 pnt. mule deer out was just a matter of some creative roping. I would give anything to have a digital camera to show that.

It just confirms that the Banshee is the best all around bike there is...

I totally agree! I have a snow plow for the winter and a lawn mower for the summer, they work great and I get my work done at least 1 hr faster than on my old Honda 300 4x4! Tha Banshee is BY FAR the most versatile quad built to date.
Work or Play, everything gets done faster on a Banshee!!! Yamaha should use that for there new ad campaign!

p.s. Kidding!

Did you use a sissy gun or just run the deer down and trample it with the versatile Banshee?

Never heard of a sissy gun, must be something only ferries dream up.

Yes, I was tempted to run one down with the machine but that would be illegal.

You should just concentrate on that high dollar ticker that you got suckered into.

It was a joke! I thought that was pretty clear. So should I lower myself and hack you back? I think not.

On my 87 Banshee, one of the previous owners had a tow hitch installed. Apparently he was looking for a more "sporty" work horse to do chores on, and realized it was more "sporty" than he realized LOL

He also wanted to give it to his daughter to ride, but discovered it was to "sporty" for her as well, and decided to sell it HAHA.

And just how do you haul anything bigger than a fawn home on a banshee? My 10 point buck will be riding in style on a Kodiak :-P

Blue 2000 Kodiak 4X4.

I plan on being the first to use a Raptor Hunting, Ive already been using it to get to places and find deer, season opens this weekend so Ill be flying out of camp on the 660 down to the bottomlands before the others can grab their bows and fire up those cranky old 4x4 quads and trucks.

Amen to that
Although the Banshee will start on a half of a kick the electric start would be nice and with reverse, I would have to agree. The raptor is the future hunting bike for me as well.

For now the question is, who would get there first??? We know the answer...

Maybe they'll offer a camo raptor or banshee

I like the idea, but if the camo was as good as the bike Id lose it in the woods to never be seen again
