#1
im tearing my banshee apart and i got to taking apart the tie rods from the steering stem i took the nut off of the tie rod that go's through the steerig stem and i cant get the tie rod to come out of the steering stem i sprayed wd40 on it and hit it with a rubber mallet but they didnt budge what do i need to get them out do i need a press to press them out

I spin the nut back on flush with the threads then give a couple good smacks with a good size steel hammer. That way it doesn't booger up the threads on the nut or the stud. They make a tool called a pickle fork for automotive use, you hammer it in between the tie rod and whatever it hooks to and it pops it apart pretty easy. I just don't know if there is a smaller version made for quads. Hope this helps!

so its just stuck on there it just needs to get loose im going to try a vise on it and see if it will press it out if not i hope the threads flush with the nut works with the hammer if anyone else has a better way to get it out let me know
