So im thinking of putting a NOS kit on my bike, anyone have any information on which set-up is better i know their like 3 people that provide NOS kits, anybody have any pro and cons over different comapnies. I know i rarely see the boondockers set-up on bike at the hill. I mainly see the blue bottle, Nitrous Oxide Systems set-up so is their's better. Anyone think i'll throw my stock rod a NOS also, with my set-up?

I don't have my motor built yet or running NOS but I am loking into the 686 kit with NOS so I've been doing my homework on it. Running 11:1 compression AND NOS is a problem waiting to happen on that stock rod. Before the trouble starts, I'd change that stock rod now so that you don't have to change it when she blows. Maybe someone else can help you on the best Nitrous system, because I'd hate to give you wrong info.

i didnt think my stock rod would like all of those high revs, damn that sucks. Oh well i guess i'll just wait for craycraft to install my 686 with the barker rod.

Going bigger eh CT?

For ease of use and reliability the boondockers kit is the way to go, but you're limited to a 20 shot I believe and I'm not sure exactly how consistant it is.

Otherwise the NOS kit is capable of some real hp.

I run a NX system with a single nozzle. Its the Piranha system used alot on the harleys and such. I have had no issues with mine so far.

Alot of people run the duel nozzle set up but I figure its all going into one cylinder anyway...

As for the stock rod... I ran a 727 105bore on a 25 shot of NOS last season with no problems... I will admit I was nervous everytime I hit the button but it held up just fine.

Later,
Mike

Looks like its coming along nicely, good job. Keep us updated.

My bike isnt going to look any different when its done, but hopefully it will be a little faster than before.

i went for looks, my bike needed a serious overhaul. the frame was all screwed up, adn paint was falling off, it looked like it was 10 years old. my lcc 686 is coming next dont worry. even with my pilot i'll be able to beat the 686's on my stock bore.
