Well you see what I've done. Before I had stock shocks right. Like a dumbass out there trying to be cool on the MX track casing jumps and just flat out looking like I need to get off the track right. Well Putting on the ELKA quad rated shocks with +3 +1 a-arms and added +4 inches on the axle, man I just couldn't believe how it rode. I don't even have to lean into a corner anymore. The lands are so easy to take. Heck I look like I belong out there now. Can't wait for the 690cc. SSG JACOBS

Step 1: Remove plastics. Step 2: Buy YFZ 450. Step 3: Remove 450 plastics. Step 4: Attempt to bolt Raptor plastics on YFZ.

No, I'm kidding. Raptors have the potential to handle better with a little help from suspension work and ergonomics. Like everyone has pretty much said the number one thing to do is offset the height and high center of gravity by making the machine wider. +3 A-Arms would be a little extreme unless you plan on racing only because it will compromise where you can go in the woods if you are a woods rider. Try to get an axle that will make the rear end equally as wide as the front. Another thing you can do is get an axle that makes the width of the rear end just slightly narrower than the front i.e. 1". This will help the Raptor silde the back end around corners a little easier at high speeds.
