Default GRIPS

I put a new set if grips on my 2001 warrior last weekend, they were very tight going on (obviously) however after a week of riding they are starting to turn on me, and the last thing I want is to hit a jump and my grips slip off on my landing lol. Is there a trick to getting these things to snug up properly, like hould i wrap my bar in electrical tape then put soap and water in grip to get it on, EVERYONE puts new grips on, what it the trick???

I used grip glue to get mine on..and I use boiling hot water and dip the grips in it to swell the grip before install..works fine..

Some people use WD-40 or Hairspray and they say it works well.

to put mine on i just cut away the old ones. I then boil water and put the new grips in the water, so they expand. after a few mins take em out and put em on.. eventually they will constrict and fit snuggly.. mine never move since then... and i ride everything.

WD-40 and a ton of gripglue, my grips will NEVER come off. If your using scott grips, most of them start to turn eventually, i have never seen a set that stays straight.

Grip Glue works. Make sure you get the glue for the brand of grips. Don't use scott glue on renthal grips or vise versa. The glue will eat the grips.

Spray paint works good. Spray a little inside the grip then slide it on.
