New Banshee

Default New Banshee

Ive got a 1997 banshee w/ a 2003 engine. I would like to start racing at my local track and need some ideas on some "cheaper" mods. Its got FMF fattys on it now but thats about it....any comments are appreciated

if it dont got a filter you should get a k&n filter with pro flow adapter and maybe some reeds

Its got a filter but i think its still got the stock reeds...

I think you definately need some new more aggresive tires, with stock tires a banshee has way to much wheelspin(trust me it can be better)

Boost bottle is cheap- doesnt do much but give you some better throttle respoince and maybe some low end

you might consider changing your spockets out for some more top end and not sow much low

what kind of racing r u doing? motocross? flat track? if its motocross then get some 18's with good tires. cheapest mod u could do for acceleration is gear the sprockets low. get some new handlebars and grips so ur arms dont wear out.
