a short while ago i was turning my quad around using the grab bar and i noticed a strange amount of give and a little popping sound you could feel through the grab bar. like something in the back end of the wheeler just wasnt tight the way it should be. when i decided to wash the quad i was cleaning up the rear shock and i noticed i could twist my rear shock slightly to the left and right. now my question is, are the collar/oil seals on both ends of the shock trashed, or is it possible that my suspension somehow loosened up a bit, or something else. ive been riding my whole life but am not very experienced when it comes to suspension components. thanks

The shock should twist back and forth slightly...I would check the axle nut(by the brake rotor), then the hub nuts(center of the wheels) then check the swingarm bolt, most raptors grab bars themselves become loose after a few over done wheelies.
best bet just put the thing on the ground and shake it back and forth in unaturall motions ex. side to side
braaaaaaap

thanks racin, but i dont think it should be as loose as it is. allready had the grab bar welded because i cracked it in half. i noticed it because the gas cylinder always gets dirty from fling off from chain lube etc. when i grab the cylinder i can twist the whole shock left to right by holding on to it (the gas cylinder). it wasnt that loose when i bought it.
