Every body's gonna think I'm crazy.

I had..."idon'tknowwhat" pipes and "silencers" on my banshee. I don't know where they are from, but I know where they're going...JUNK.
I've had my banshee for 3 months, with those pipes. Lastly I had to repair the whole intake, and decided to mount the stock pipes, just to see, and because I thought they were less noisy (though I don't have the spark arresters, that sell 30.95$can).
Now I love my machine, it has so much more low end...and I don't know if lost a lot of top end hp (I did loose like 1000 rev), but now, it's as sweet as sugar to ride, torquey, with some power left to have fun. I have been really surprised by the change of low end hp...and the loss of revv.
If the engine breaks later, THEN, I will make it mean (420cc, pipes, carbs...), but there's no way i'm gonna put those awful pipes back on (maybe real pipes -FMF, pro Circuit...- would work better than this ****).
Here's the conclusion, my banshee is less noisy, less vibrations...I hear the kickstarter rattling (gonna change it), and maybe more fun. Until I do the whole engine over, I will keep the stock pipes.

I'm not crazy.but now, I like my sweet banshee (that with stock pipes has been faster -this afternoon- than 3 400XR, 125YZ and 400DRZ, on hard pack...and very very tight slippery woods)

I really think I'm gonna keep that machine

They sure are sweet until they blow up, then they cost more then ANY other wheeler to rebuild.
