Default yfz ?

on my yfz i did all the upgrades that you see in my thread here, and i notice i'm getting like a whistleing sound from like the air box the lid is off and jetted etc... is that normal??? very low sounding but enough to barely hear it

Yup, ride on. Mine does it, as well as the rest of them. Perfectly normal.

yeah great to hear that thanks... wasnt thinking but cars do that too with putting cold air intakes on them...

cool... know anything on setting the idle and stuff i seemed to stall a few times today at idle and when i'm in first just starting to take off normal riding...

These things have a VERY tall first gear. Something you just have to get used to. I used to stall mine quite a bit when I first got it. Wait until you put a lighter flywheel on it, it will be like starting over. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

I just set the idle high enough to barel keep mine running. Other than that, if you are having problems it is probably due to tuning issues. Someone needs to correct me if I'm wrong on this, but I believe that the pilot jet will be the factor in idling. That along with getting your fuel screw set correctly.

If you go over to y f z central.com you will find some articles on getting the fuel screw set correctly to help it idle right.

i had a couple guys talkting to me about it but i'm little unsure on what to do properly and exactly so i may take it in to yamaha in town and have them adjust it and see what they can find...
