Default Griz Tighter or looser

On a 04 griz should I adjust the vlaves to the tighter or looser clearance intake 10 or 15 mm exhaust 15 or 20mm which end of the spectrum on each ? Please answer soon I am doing them tonight.

loose on the intake. they always seem to tighten up. the exhaust i put in the middle. they seem to never tighten.

Thanks mich I just got done and put the intake at .127 mm and exhaust at .178mm , because that is the closest I had on my automotive type feeler gauge set. That is close to the middle of both clearances ,I will finish putting the tank and plastic on and try it tomm. It seems that both intake and exhaust were tight ,well tighter than what I set them.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] thanks again.

I always go on the loose side of the measurement. Its generally going to tighten over time, so you will still be in spec when you get finished, and probably can go longer before they get too tight again.
