well personally i think it is the honda 250r...mainly because of the reliability...to be almost 20 yrs. old and still hanging with the big boys today is just awesome....the reason i asked this on the yamaha forum is because my buddy thinks the only thing i like is honda and i wanted to see if some yamaha riders feel the same....so what is your favorite quad ever...could be old or new...and please try to explain why......

Gota be the banshee its 18 years old and still made. Modded its hands down the fastest bike. It has a one of a kind look and sound. Oh and any time a person get a bike modded the first thing they want to do is race a banshee with. Everyone wants to say they beat a modded banshee. There is something to be said for that.
The R was at a tie for it but then the 450 beat it at what it did best (MX). But I feel its 2nd. Just for the long term dominance on the MX track.

why do you see a quadzilla as the best sportquad...yes it is also old and fast...but does it have the popularity of the 250r...i just kinda want to know why you think it is the best...which it may very well be and i truthfully forgot all about the quadzilla...now you have me thinkin...

yes banshees are super fast quads but they really are not the greatest for a hare scramble or trail quad...now the 250r is good in all aspects of riding...i am also still deciding on the quadzilla...i really havnt heard enough about them to make a choice...they aren't that popular...

I have a friend who has one & they are scary F'n fast. They are so big & smooth though, that the speed is very decieving until you put on the brakes to slow up for a corner & holy *****..... you suddenly realize just how fast you were going.
I quess I wouldn't say it's the best, it was plagued with reliability problems, most common being ignition. But it's an often overlooked & mostly totally forgotton about machine.
