The cheapest upgrade would be to get a good quality filter.A k&n,uni-filter and a pre filter. You will more than likely need to re-jet,a pain in the butt ,but easy. What I mean by pain in the butt is you have too take the airbox off and the plastic but thats easy.Do you do alot of mud/water riding? If you do,you might want to leave the airbox lid on,but if you don't get rid of the lid.Water in your fuel is not good of course.Even with the lid off you may still need to re-jet.The raptor needs to breath! It's really restricted with stock the filter.Next would be a pipe,if you get a pipe you'll want the filter anyway. This has been my findings. The best would be pipe/filter/jet kit.

Default cheap performance upgrade

I bought a White Brothers after market silencer...$250+ some change. This was the first mod I made to my Raptor, and I noticed right-off a power increase on the low to mid ends.
