Eliminating Torrs
#2
Goto http://www.toomey.com/ and order either the whirlpull twist grip kit or the thumb throttle kit. The kit contains great instructions along with the idle screws which you will need once the TORS is removed since the idle control is part of the TORS unit. I completed the conversion to a twist throttle on my 96 Shee in about an hour and you should be able to do the same.
You can also just "disable" the system by following the instructions on this site. The article is located at https://atvconnection.com/Department...ch=No&href=585 . This still leaves the TORS carb tops in place but disables it. I would recommend just getting rid of the whole thing with the toomey kit.
Hope this helps!
