I am getting a +4 Lonestar Axcalibur banshee axle (cheap $250 brand new) has anyone done this? I called Durablue and RPM and asked them if it would work. Durablue just said yes and did not explain, RPM said it would as long as I correct for the offset. He said that if you measure from one side of the swingarm to the end of the axle, that one side will be an inch shorter than the other.??? Does anyone have an opinion on this?

I am also getting +2 wider and +1 forward A-arms. I am pretty sure I am going to get Ricky Stator A-arms. He said they will be available in about a month and will be $475. Does anyone know if Ricky Stator's A-arms are any good. Any other Brands around the same price that are really good??

Thanks for any info.

I guess that I'm as dumb as dirt, but the Banshee and Raptor have the axle tightening nuts on opposite sides. Can you just flip it around and use it?

Personally, I would want my axle to be even on both sides. What is the reason for one side being longer than the other?

Dont you have to buy new shocks if you get + size A-Arms

If you go with +1 A-arms you can retain the stock shocks, but anything beyond that you would definitely have to invest in some aftermarket shocks for A-arms that length.

I am being told I'll need to use wheel spacers to even the offset out on one side if I go with the Dominator. Can't get a lot out of Dura Blue except "Yea, it's a Banshee axle and it will work". Despite the axle nut being on the opposite side.

The home page of this website features an article for Timmy Boy designs who already is doing a-arms but they are about $650. Look them up for something right away.

The Eliminator uses spacers between the hub and axle flange. You use these to adjust the width. You will have to move the 1" spacer to the outside(to narrow the wide side) of the hub when you fasten it.

In 1994 I bought some Dean Sundahl Racing A-arms, and now I think that Dean Sundahl and Ricky Stator have joined forces to sell more product, alot of Dean Sundahls product line seems to be sold by Ricky Stator.

So, let me round this up, yes Ricky's A-Arms will be good, my A-arms from Deans were very nice and good quality.

Hope this helps

Just to clear up the fact that someone thinks that Ricky Stator and Dean Sundall are connected is wrong. Timmyboy Designs builds Ricky Stators arms for Ricky. Ricky's Raptor arms will be available soon. They will be camber adjustable and available in +2 and +3. Timmyboy arms are camber and caster ajustable. Not everyone needs that.

Got a dura blue eliminator axle on my Raptor. There are two models the stock version and the 2+2 which I got. For 300 bucks plus shipping can't beat that for a lifetime warranty for an indestructable axle.
