i have a 660R and the other day i broke off my clamp for my stock pipe and i called up the dealer and they said i need to get a whole new pipe is there a place that i could just get the clamp o yea and he said it would be $125 for a brand new stock pipe is that a godd price for it

 

If you want a stock pipe, a lot of people on here might have theirs and will ask almost nothing for it. If you just want the clamp that tightens the pipe to the head-pipe, just go down to your parts store and buy some muffler clamps.

 

yamaha told me i have 2 buy the whole pipe

 

I doubt Yamaha will tell you to go buy a $2.00 muffler clamp from your local Auto Parts store if they might be able to get you to buy a new pipe from them for $125. Its bad business practices to tell people to go somewhere else. You can either do like Cali said, or have you thought about goin aftermarket? Just go buy a slip on. Your problem will be fixed and you will have more power. But if you really want, I have my stock exhaust just layin in the shop if your interested.

yea but my friends say a will have to jet and make wholes in the airbox

maybe just stick with the stock pipe for now

 

A 20$ jet job and no you dont have to put holes in airbox.
