anyone have idea how far tie rods should be from start.? when i got my kodiak it looks weird from the front
as you look at front of bike your left tire is straight not much toe in but right side looks like you are already turning. like your turning left but right side is going straight. alot. can i take both tie rods and make the one that looks corect and make other the same?. and one more thing when you sit on bike there is a little play in stearing. bars dont move up or down in or out. just when sitting still they turn about a 1/4 to a 1/2 in before the wheels do any ideas what it could be . i didnt notice this till i changed cv joint last weekend and didnt get a chance to drive it till fri. any help would be great thanks in advance ..

Your toe should be very close to straight up. If you want "slightly better handling in turns" you might want up to an 1/8 toed out. If you want high speed runs you want about an 1/8 toed in. All in all you should be very close to straight up.
About the slop in the steering. You have worn parts; find out which one and replace them.
