Whats a good pipe to put on Raptor 660r?
#1
I just bought a 660r and it is jetted. The guy removed the pipe and put the stock pipe back on it. I am looking to see what is a good trail pipe that meets 96 decibles or less and an approved spark arrestor. The other option is to go back to the stock size jet for the time being. Any thoughts out there?

I think you need to ride it more so you get used to the power it has before you upgrade. I do not want to see you get thrown off.

Any pipe is basically gonna wake that thing from the dead, it makes a world of a difference...the stock pipe has that thing corked up a ton. As for a pipe, i would look for quality construction and warranty. Thats why I went with a FatBoy4....its got stainless headpipes and a nice polished aluminum silencer. My buddy bought an FMF system the same time I bought mine about a year ago and his looks all ragged already...mine looks great still...however, they don"t come with a spark arrestor, but you can buy one and I am not sure if it is approved. Also each pipe is serial numbered individually and have a lifetime warranty. I think I paid $500 somthin for mine...good luck and check em all out...dirt wheels has a raptor pipe shoot-out posted on thier website pipe shootout Peace

Thats BS ^^^^^ if hes gonna get thrown off with a pipe, hell still gonna get thrown off stock the rappy's a torque monster.... btw you are going to hear a million options by asking this question, i've been searching the threads myself trying to find what pipe meets my needs and it seems as everyone has the "best pipe" lol g/l though....and be careful your raptor loves to look at the sky

Hey Ugly88, you need to update your profile. You have the second quad now. Thanks for watching out for me while I am riding.
I seemed to have done Ok when we were out riding.

I have Curtis Sparks and my Raptor is setup but it is the loudest bike anywhere I go.
I'm going to try and repack it and make sure it has a spark arrester before I hit any public places.

The White Brothers E2 is rated right at 96db and gives great performance. Their original E-series has stacked removable baffles on the end that allow you to adjust its sound level, but my money's on the E2 for performance and that sweet, sweet revving sound (stock quiet at idle, too).
