anyone ever hear a knocking noise on their yfz seems like something in the front end, i doubt it is engine related seems like in front maybe something loose possibly or like for instants if you take a nut and put in a plastic container if you move it around thats what it sounds like i could be trippin though [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

does it happen only when your under a heavy load, like 5th gear full out goin up a hill or is it mostly constant??? if its only under heavy load... its probabily a low octane knock... step up the fuel to 108 octane and it will probabily stop, if your runnin 91 that is... I used to have that problem when i ran 91 octane pump gas...

 

yea i had cheap stuff and brought it back up but this 450 is maybe 1month old now didnt seem like from the engine but could be and now i'm using better gas could be running better... getting the jetting checked out as we speak... and yes it was around higher gears i heard it wasnt loud just i hear it briefly but 'm very particular on things....
