Default Ouch bruin 350 rear drum brakes???

I was just checking out the yamaha website comparing the wolvy to the 4x4 bruin 350 and spec wise seems to me like they slapped in an auto transmission, a fan for the oil cooler, and on demand 4x4 which are nice but why would they choose to go from disk brakes to a sealed drum brake in the rear?? correct me if im wrong arent disk generally better then drum brakes?? I know getting wet is a big issue which i would suppose is solved by sealed but what am I missing here?

I mean they switched the blaster from drum to disk and they sell kits to change honda utility atvs from drum to disk. what gives? is it just yamaha being cheap?
