i am getting ready to buy a quad and i wanted wich the banshee or the lt500 was faster.

who cares which is faster. just buy one and be happy with it. get bran new banshee and enjoy it. it will be fast enough. unless you really know what your doin i would not waste my time with an extint atv like the lt500

hmm, funny a minute ago you were buying a machine and wanted input which was faster so you'd know for your purchase...

If you know the difference, and you are a pro racer, then why are you asking this question? Have you never come acrossed the zilla? Must not be much of a pro circuit if you havent.

BTW: To answer your question, the lt500 is considerably faster stock and with very mild modifications, but the banshee quickly surpasses it in power production as you spend more money.

riiiiiiiiiight. i like what maddog said. Your a PRO RACER a big PRO huh? is this an imaginary race team of yours in your head MORON. if you really were a pro #1 you prolly wouldn't be fartn' around this website and #2 if you really are a PRO you would prolly already know this kinda info.

and another thing. if you used the search tool as opposed to starting a new worthless thread, you'd see that there is at least 3 threads just like this already existing with pertnent info about what you want to know. I'm sure there are more in the suzuki forum as well
