Has anyone ever bought anything from them and if so how was the quality. Here is what they sent me for my warrior,.450' lift (race) cam, 11:1 JE race piston, Ti valve spring kit, valve guide seals, head & base gaskets, cam chain tensioner gasket.
This kit will give you 40% more power in the midrange and top end, and the increased compression will help the bottom end. (The .390" cam only gives a bump in the midrange.)
$450 engine kit.

has anyone else done this and is their claim of a %40 increase true. Also is the 11:1 better all around then a 10 1/4 piston.

Thanks
Camber

i have seen one alba motor run in a banshee and i wasnt too impressed but dirtwheels did a test on the 410cc(i think 410) warrior and they raved about it, alba also has a pretty impressive turbo motor out...but i have seen a ported banshee motor by alba and was not impressed, may wanna talk to someone with the kit you are looking at

I have no direct experience with Wariors or Alba, but the parts you listed sound consistent or even more agressive than the mods I made to my 400EX. I added at least 10hp to a 24hp stock engine, which is 42%. With a pipe and filter, you should be able to achieve those results. Jet it to use 100-octane with that 11:1 at less than 2500FT.

Yes you will need a pipe and air filter kit $300, you should also add a bigger carb, I went with a 38mm at $250. Then you'll need new shocks to handle all the new power, $300 Works for the front. Grand total of $1300 and I still ended up selling it and buying a new Raptor.

Hmm why is it that they always say to sell it and get a "enter name here". I don't want a raptor or a ds 650 or a 400ex or anything else I like my warrior. Let see price wise I only need the engine mods since the pipe and jet kit are on the way all ready, and I bought works shocks all the way around when I got the +2 A-arms +2 swingarm and +2 axel. Unfortunately(sp?) I folded the frame and now I'm slowly rebuilding it and trying to make small inprovments where my wallet and wife will allow

Thanks

That's cool man, just get the 38mm carb, to get max power improvements everything has to allow air to flow. From the air box, into the carb, motor, and out the pipe. My Warrior was a great machine, never had any problems in 4 years

DreamDuner,
What mods did you have on your warrior before ya sold it off and what performance increases were there. Also would I need to run race gas with the 11:1. If so I'll probaly go with the 10.25:1

I did all the stuff you where talking about, piston (11:1), cam, valves, 38mm carb, WB pipe, K&N air filter w/o air box , Works shocks, etc. I don't know the final hp gain but it rocked compared to a stock Warrior. I ride mostly in the dunes with Banshees and I kept close.

On the gas, I used 1/2 pump 92/93 and 1/2 100ll avgas, or in a pinch put "kick ***" in pump gas. The avgas was easy to get as I live on a few miles from a small airport. Hope that helps.

DreamDuner,
With those mods you kept up with Banshees.
Wow it is way worth it then.
Two quick things thu: How much did gas cost ya, and did you loss bottom end power or did the higher compresion piston help the bottom end. Also would keeping the stock 13/40 gearing help the bottom with that .450 cam.
Ok so that was three things
