well i got a 1993 warrior from a friend for 1200 with aftermarket filter and some type of aftermarket exhaust and a few other things but i want to know how many gears it has i dont have it yet im picking it up a a few days and topspeed and also do u have to hit the clutch everytime u shift or just wen u start

six, five forward and one reverse

 

7... 1down 5 up, 1 reverse.. topspeed's about 60 stock and YES you HAVE to use the clutch all the time.

 

Hmm Yamaha's specs say 6. Speedy are you sure about the 7??

 

lets clarify this. the warrior has a six speed manual clutch trannsmission. it al so has one reverse gear. thats seven gears total, but most people wouldnt classifiy it as a seven speed... hope this helps

it has a after market exhause and filter as i know of but how co ill beat my neighbors sportsman400 in topspeed inm only 3rd gear and hid topspeed is 50 that dosnt seem right 6o top speed wen it does about 50 in 3rd

 

50mph in 3rd gear dam r u sure it only has a pipe and filter

 

I had a blast on my old 93 Warrior it was quick at the time it was clocked at 64 mph not bad for a 350 4 stroke. Then i upgraded to a 660R now i can go faster!!!!!!!!!!! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
