Bought a '03 limited edition rappy last night. Thing has some decent ****, I'm loving it. One the is wrong with it though. You can down shift from first to reverse with out Turning the reverse ****. Any body know what it be? Thanks.

its a nice bike hope u like it i have one also but its not suppose to do that

 

No kidding. I rode it today for a bit and it gave me no troubles. I have a hunch its a shift fork. Can anbody confirm that or could it be something else too?

 

Dont accidentally slip it into reverse LOL, that would be no good!!!

 

Mine did that when it was cold, i guess it was half frozen and just stuck there. I think its your reverse switch itself...

 

I just got to looking at that and the bracket that holds the reverse switch in place is broke. Wonder if that could have something to do with it too.

 

if it is broken that can prob be the problem

I believe you can adjust the reverse cable, that would be my first place to look.
