Raptor Extended policy
#1
I bought the extended policy on my Raptor, policy
4 years for $545 (Western Service Contract)but it was not the Yamaha policy. Anyone had experience with them.
What does the YES (Yamaha Policy) cost for various term...12mo, 24 mo, 36 mo? $
Is it a better policy?
My dealer told me it was a better policy (western Service) and also it was cheaper....it has a $50 co payment though? How about Yamaha YES?

It's been my experience that outside companies offer better coverage but may be harder to submit a claim, unless all your service is done at the dealer you purchased it at. Go to Yamaha.com and read their YES policy. It doesn't cover much.

One thing that I hate about the warranty is that it does'nt always mean that your machine will be fixed (dealer says inadequate maintenance or misused or anything else). Most people assume that it will be as easy as having their new car serviced under warranty. My dealership seems to be a good one with a good maintenance dept., so I will probably get the Yamaha extended warranty before my 6 month warranty runs out.
