Default 05 Grizzly 660 Starting trouble

I turn the key on, put the kill switch to run, hit the starter button and nothing. I just switched from Polaris to Yamaha so know nothing about these. The battery is fully charged and it will start with the recoil (which is no easy task). Sometimes if I hold the button in it will kick in and start but that is very infrequent. There is a plug under the seat that looks like it plugs into what I think is the solenoid. I jumped the red wire to the blue/white wire and it started right up. If I leave the jumper in the unit will not turn off with either switch though....Help

I can't help with the problem but if it's still under warranty I would take it in.

Just a stupid suggestion, are you pushing the green button and not the over-ride button, my wife just called me at work and said she couldn't get the Grizzly to start I told her to make sure she was pushing the green button, she just hung up the phone.

Also if you have it in gear make sure you have the left brake pulled in.
Try starting it in neutral, and park.

No it doesn't. Everything works but nothing happens when the button is pushed. Every now & then I can here some arcing by the solenoid but I swapped the solenoid out and still didn't fix problem.
