from BR, you want to take I-10 over the bridge to Lobdell over to 190.

Take 190 until it hits I-49

I-49 north to the next exit (like 2 miles) Exit 23 I believe

take a left, onto that road, Hwy 167. Go to Ville Platte

go through VP, the road is divided. It turns into Hwy10 at one point.. just keep going straight through.

Stay on Hwy 10 to Oakdale, then Elizabeth, Then Pitkin

The next town past Pitkin on 10 is Cravens.

Look for Hwy399, it's like 100 degree turn back to your right, follow that road for a mile or two then look for hte signs on your left.

The road going into the camp area is dirt

that map should be a closup of the road in Cravens/Fullerton

I drive from Kenner to Pitkin once or twice amonth. I don't really look at the road signs on Hwy 10/167 from I-49. I wasn't even aware that the road was 167 I would say it's about 140ish miles from BR area as it's 192 miles from Kenner to Pitkin
