...Vinny people race the z400 because

1) It's fun (I do it as well)
2) It's still a quad
3) It's fast

BUT it's still made for the trails, Suzuki even stated that the z400 was great on trails and the new z450 would be made for racing (having no reverse and racing mods already built into it), like I said before and some other guy said right before this post....It's like asking who would win a race, a Ferrari or a Dodge Ram....of course a z400 would lose because the hmmm....obvious? Mabye like 50cc's, you know, that might just be a little thing....but when that z450 comes out I will want to see all of you do another post because then the match would be FAIR. But one thing is for sure, the z400 will always win on the trails because it's a Suzuki [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

Oh and my vote goes to the YFZ haha, sorry with that...got a little carried away...

 

i went to the beach last weekend and my buddy has a 400 with a lot of mods and he was beating the stock 450 over and over again. maybe it was the rider but i dont think so.

 

yea but 50cc's dont mean nothing, my yfz450 beats raptors that are 660cc's so

Since YFZ's are designed for racing does that mean that everybody that has a YFZ only races it? No because it can do other things than what it was designed for, just like a Z400.

BTW my vote is for the YFZ, but I would by a Z400 before a YFZ because they are cheaper and because everybody has a YFZ or a 450R.

 

IT COMES DOWN TO PERSONAL PREFERENCE WHAT YOU WANT THEN GET IT YOU'LL BE HAPPY... EVERYONE ALWAYS WANT GO FASTER THOUGH...

 

thats not saying much because raptors are an over rated bike. They are not as fast as people think.

 

Now Now, com on yall. I've seen it myself. If it is a short run the z gives the yfz a run for the money just like any thing else. That is 300ft and under. This is stock for stock. Modded i'll give it to the yfz but not by much. If the yfz is stock and the z has a pipe airfilter and a set of cams, also a +1 countershaft sproket i'll give it too the z all day! But from what ive seen with only a few simple mods the yfz comes alive! Then they will kick some @$$ but not stock.
