hey everyone, im 13 years old and new to quading and my dad said he would buy me any quad i want! but im a begginer. i road my friends raptor 350 once and i can control it pretty good. i was thinking of getting a yfz 450. what do you guy think?

 

There is a big differance from the rap 350 to a YFZ.....I would say you better have a lot of experance to get the YFZ..

 

well a yfz is pretty potent. If you are the average 13 year old, it might be a bit much for you to handle. There are general "guidelines" taht say anything above like 90cc's is for 16 or older. Now how many people obey that is another question. Personally, i think the raptor 350 would be the best for a yamaha, or maybe a honda 300ex, if you want to go with sport quads.

as far as utility quads, a wolverine or rancher would be cool. The recon is only 2wd, and the bruin i think is automatic, but they are only 250 cc

just my opinion tho...

 

I would think a 400ex or a raptor 350 would be good for you

Def get the raptor 350, im 250 5'11, lacking the muscles u wish u had, and my rappy 660 is insane even for me, the yfz would be similar, way to mucchhhhh power for a 13 y/o weighing 165 with NO expierence. (Even if you have big muscles [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

yea but right now if u have little to none expierence thats wayyyyy to much quad for you...thjat rappy will be perfect stock for about 2 years, then you can start modding and make it last till ur about 16-17 then pick up the yamaha raptor 760 efi... well that last part may be a dream....
